Unfortunately I mostly just hold myself to a standard I slap together made out of what I have achieved in the past, what I want to achieve and by comparing myself to people who are far, far better artists than I will ever be, so I’m not sure that’ll make me feel better so much. It reminds me of a Deftones show where Chino got really drunk, took off his pants, broke 4 microphone, fell over constantly, etc. Okay Brandon wasn’t THAT bad.

The very first concert I ever went to was a Festival where the Deftones played. I was a sophomore in HS and Chino spent most of the time just rolling around on the stage. Literally rolling around while singing. I am pretty sure he kept his pants on but this was also my first opportunity to realize that I get contact highs VERY EASILY so my memory is a bit…uh…foggy.
